How we do it at our shop
Facials run in the enclosed treatment room at Centre St #7A, away from the massage chairs, with the door shut and the lights down. You lie under a blanket with your hair wrapped; bring nothing, and plan to leave without makeup on, as we finish with moisturiser and sunscreen rather than base.
The order is fixed: double cleanse, steam for about 10 minutes to soften the pores, extraction only where the skin is genuinely congested, a soothing mask, then facial and shoulder massage while the mask sets. Extraction is the step we most often shorten — if your skin is reactive that day we say so and skip it instead of pushing through.
Timing matters more than for our body treatments. Come at least a day before an event, not the same morning, and tell us if you have used a retinoid or acid peel in the past week so we can drop the steam and extraction. If you have active acne with pustules, broken capillaries, cold sores, or recent injectables, book a hydrating-only session and mention it when you arrive.
Pricing is per session at the listed price — the same number you see on the page is what the front desk charges, and points accrue automatically for members. We do not run a course-of-ten model, so there is nothing to sign at the end.
